Slipping Away I remember I was 12 years old The world was simple no one got old or died Nobody Died An Uncle passing and a Grandfather too It made me realise there's nothing we can do about life Just don't waste time We all know it's slipping away We all know time's slipping away for good I'm wasting time when I'm standing in lines Or I'm waiting for a doctor to tell me I'm fine and why Cause we're all scared to die Undecided about what would be worse Being caught on a freeway or pushing up dirt oh boy You might ask why We all know it's slipping away We all know time's slipping away for good I'm twenty five I don't want any kids This world is crowded enough as it is and when There's so many other lives to save We get unhappy and everyone hurts When life gets hectic we're turning into jerks oh boy What's going on here? We all know it's slipping away We all know time's slipping away for good

Turn To You 03:24
Daydream night falls in between I'm doing my best to stay clean I try to open up my mind to all kinds of thought But when I opened up my eyes and bullshit was all I saw I don't why you keep asking me about all my flaws There's way too much selling out to get one shitty job When the world can get no colder I can only turn to you Cause when it all falls down baby I still have you Some day's I don't feel like I can A woman's heart helps me to understand But it's eight or nine times till I eventually think she's right Cause I'm too much of a man to admit that I am not I don't know why it takes so much for me to give in There's only so much holding on till you start to spin I don't know what you see in me But I hope that it's the truth Cause when it all falls down Baby I still have you

Remedy Girl 03:02
You're my remedy girl My bottle of pills My prescription love For the pain that kills All the love in my heart And deep down in my soul You're my remedy girl I'm hooked on you for sure Your all I need, your all I need To get me by, oh yeah your all I need You're my remedy girl When I swallow you down Your love drug kicks in Turns the pressure down Form this cruel world You heal me and elate You're my remedy girl The only drug I take Corporate medical world Is all hit and miss until I'm loving my girl No doctor's pills Could take away the pain like the feel of her touch You're my remedy girl My vitamin kiss My Paxil china doll How can I resist All your Ativan charms Keeps my level head You're my remedy girl Without you I'm dead

Hey mamma there's a war outside It's time to be on our way I hear the rockets piercing the clouds Our homes are coming down, down, down, down, down Yeah mamma we'd better watch out There's soldiers everywhere Everyone has got fear in their eyes And the sky is falling down, down, down, down, down Every night I'm watching people die Guns pointed at their heads We're pulling triggers till the bullets fly And we all fall down, down, down, down, down No enemy on the run No monsters under our beds Dollar bill is going to fuel this war Till we all fall down, down, down, down, down There's nowhere to run Nowhere to hide If you want to save your life You better get out, get out or die Yeah mamma there's a war outside It's time to be on our way Everyone got the fear in their eyes And the sky is falling down, down, down, down, down No enemy on the run No monsters under our bed Dollar bill gonna fuel this war Till we all fall down, down, down, down, down

Last Breath 05:01
A mother's child in her arms Last breath death of a charm She went quietly in the afternoon The father cried tears on her crown His baby girl fought hard and proud Now she's the princess of the skies And a bad dream that came to life So unexpected So unexpected So unexpected When a young life ends There's a world outside they don't want to face It's lost it colour to a dull shade of grey It's hurt you can't repair Every inch of their tiny house Is a memory of her and the trouble she'd cause There's laughter amongst the tears

Revolve 05:47
There's all these mornings I don't get out of my bed I stay in all day with the thoughts inside my head There like rusty gears that keep on spinning round There's all these people I keep trying to avoid Their sorrow faces get me so annoyed Got me frowning even when I crack a smile There's people everywhere But we can still be alone I get all tense anytime I say hello In love extraordinary lives can get tough Days will disappear into another year Spinning round a star There's a million faces with a million hopes and dreams And plenty of wolves that are dressing up like sheep To devour you prey on you when you're weak Were all surrounded by loneliness and despair No one's human anymore but no one seems to care Life's become surreal like pictures on a screen (Chorus) We've all been lost and couldn't be found A stranger's hand could lead you home or hurt the ones you love the most

about

Recorded in the summer of 2007 in Vancouver BC, with producer Matthew Rogers, 'Princess of the Skies' was my debut release and an introduction into my heart and music. A profound learning experience and the whole process of recording, releasing, touring, really benefitted me in the sculpting of my sound. It was well received by critics and a representation of my musical self, and I admit a way of finding out exactly who I was as an artist and which direction my voice and style should go down. It's an ever evolving process that I believe will continue for the rest of my days, I look forward to my next release 'The Truth' a high energy rock record full of honest, and emotional words and performances from myself and some of my closet and most talented friends!
