A comment on what I believe to be the uselessness of war, and the perpetuation of fear. When I think of war I can't help but imagining experiencing it, and the stress and fear people have to endure, so much fear, pain and violence on this world and I just don't see the point, and I don't want to ignore it by any means.
lyrics
Hey mamma there's a war outside
It's time to be on our way
I hear the rockets piercing the clouds
Our homes are coming down, down, down, down, down
Yeah mamma we'd better watch out
There's soldiers everywhere
Everyone has got fear in their eyes
And the sky is falling down, down, down, down, down
Every night I'm watching people die
Guns pointed at their heads
We're pulling triggers till the bullets fly
And we all fall down, down, down, down, down
No enemy on the run
No monsters under our beds
Dollar bill is going to fuel this war
Till we all fall down, down, down, down, down
There's nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide
If you want to save your life
You better get out, get out or die
Yeah mamma there's a war outside
It's time to be on our way
Everyone got the fear in their eyes
And the sky is falling down, down, down, down, down
No enemy on the run
No monsters under our bed
Dollar bill gonna fuel this war
Till we all fall down, down, down, down, down
