about

First song I wrote after I had moved to Vancouver, it's about anyone who starts out in a new city and has to find their feet, and how life seems set up in a way not in line with a happy way of being and you have to fight though all that bullshit to find yourself, whenI wrote this I was still looking, and I think I always will continue to define myself!

lyrics

Daydream night falls in between
I'm doing my best to stay clean
I try to open up my mind to all kinds of thought
But when I opened up my eyes and bullshit was all I saw

I don't why you keep asking me about all my flaws
There's way too much selling out to get one shitty job
When the world can get no colder
I can only turn to you
Cause when it all falls down baby I still have you

Some day's I don't feel like I can
A woman's heart helps me to understand
But it's eight or nine times till I eventually think she's right
Cause I'm too much of a man to admit that I am not

I don't know why it takes so much for me to give in
There's only so much holding on till you start to spin
I don't know what you see in me
But I hope that it's the truth
Cause when it all falls down Baby I still have you
